🏆 Tournament Format & Playoff Places
Teams are divided into 12 groups of 4.
Top 2 teams from each group advance automatically.
8 best third‑place teams also advance, creating a 32‑team knockout stage.
This means there are 8 additional playoff (knockout) places beyond the automatic top‑two qualifiers.
